Thanks for having a look at our BLOG at www.lymeregisfossilwalks.com  I take fossil walks out along the Jurassic Coast and you can find fossils as well -at low tide. My walks bring up some unusual finds, just look at that old door knocker i spotted on the old Victorian bottle dump. This area is a mudslide, that washed down onto the beach in 2008. It brought a lot of old bottles and antiquity out onto the beaches. See our YouTube video below, released in November 2022. The sea does the work for you along the Jurassic Coast, washing material out of the mudslides and onto the beaches. Beware of the dangerous cliffs that are liable to fall suddenly and without warning. The best time to go fossil collecting is an hour before low tide and an hour afterwards.
