Brandon Lennon will displaying fossil preparation techniques for free this summer, at Lyme Regis.You can see us at the Marine Parade Shelters along the seafront of Lyme Regis.There will be local fossil collecting advice available and fossils from the area for sale.SORRY THE NEXT AVAILABLE GUIDED FOSSIL WALKS WITH US ARE IN OCTOBER 2018.The dates we have for the fossil shows in July are on the 6th,11th,18th,19th,20th,22nd.Then we resume the fossil shows August- 13th,16th,20th,21st,24th,27th,28th. Fantastic Fossil Photos On Instagram .A few weeks ago i joined Instagram.This is a service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately.A good number of "fossilists"have shared some wonderful photographs of their fossil finds on Instagram.
Recently i uploaded an ammonite nodule,i had found when out fossil collecting.The fossil is filmed with the round part of the nodule showing in my hand.I then flip the stone over to reveal the ammonite inside the stone.I stipulate in the video description that" i can`t believe its flipping Thursday already."Its certainly true the weeks just fly by these days.The ammonite flipping phase certainly seems to be growing on Instagram every Thursday.If the trend continues in the next weeks the Fossil Flip Thursday Hashtag should see a lot more entries. I have told people that flipping your fossil over a bed or cushion is good practice.Luckily so far i have managed to catch all my fossil specimens.Please follow us on Instagram @brandonfossils and you can see all our fossil videos there.The video directly below this text is one of the nodules that i have also shared on YouTube for people to view.
