We are back in our old shop in Lyme Regis at 7 Drake`s Way ,Lyme Regis DT7 3QP.Its been 20 years since we were last in this fossil workshop. That is an old photo of us at the shop where we used to run public fossil walks from .Now we offer private fossil hunting trips along the Jurassic Coast .We have details of our fossil collecting trips at www.lymeregisfossilwalks.com You can also watch us at Brandon lennon Channel on YouTube, for some fossil hunting videos . The shop is set up as a fossil workshop as well ,participants can learn how to polish a fossil themselves. For more information see our contact page on our website. The fossil collecting along the Jurassic Coast is best attempted with a guide. The cliffs here are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning .You must stay away from the dangerous cliffs .The best collecting is at low tide. Come and say hello to us at the shop and feel free to ask questions about the fossil walks. We have a good little range of local fossil specimens here to suit all tastes. See our opening times on the door of the shop here in Lyme Regis.

Fantastic Fossil Photos On Instagram .A few weeks ago i joined Instagram. This is a service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately.A good number of "fossilists"have shared some wonderful photographs of their fossil finds on Instagram.
Recently i uploaded an ammonite nodule,i had found when out fossil collecting. The fossil is filmed with the round part of the nodule showing in my hand.I then flip the stone over to reveal the ammonite inside the stone.I stipulate in the video description that" i can`t believe its flipping Thursday already."Its certainly true the weeks just fly by these days. The ammonite flipping phase certainly seems to be growing on Instagram every Thursday. If the trend continues in the next weeks the Fossil Flip Thursday Hashtag should see a lot more entries. I have told people that flipping your fossil over a bed or cushion is good practice.Luckily so far i have managed to catch all my fossil specimens. Please follow us on Instagram @brandonfossils and you can see all our fossil videos there. The video directly below this text is one of the nodules that i have also shared on YouTube for people to view.
