This is our latest fossil hunting video on YouTube made in Winter time in stormy weather at Lyme Regis.Follow me out on the beach at low tide fossil hunting on Christmas Day. Its a very wet day along the Jurassic Coast and this shows up some of the fossils really well. I walk West of Lyme Regis and find a very nice fossil sea urchin specimen. The cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning. Fantastic Fossil Photos On Instagram .A few weeks ago i joined Instagram. This is a service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately.A good number of "fossilists"have shared some wonderful photographs of their fossil finds on Instagram.
Recently i uploaded an ammonite nodule,i had found when out fossil collecting. The fossil is filmed with the round part of the nodule showing in my hand.I then flip the stone over to reveal the ammonite inside the stone.I stipulate in the video description that" i can`t believe its flipping Thursday already."Its certainly true the weeks just fly by these days. The ammonite flipping phase certainly seems to be growing on Instagram every Thursday. If the trend continues in the next weeks the Fossil Flip Thursday Hashtag should see a lot more entries. I have told people that flipping your fossil over a bed or cushion is good practice.Luckily so far i have managed to catch all my fossil specimens. Please follow us on Instagram @brandonfossils and you can see all our fossil videos there. The video directly below this text is one of the nodules that i have also shared on YouTube for people to view.
