6/7/2021 1 Comment Fossil Walks Summer 2021I have created a standard reply for the fossil walks this Summer as i have taken on a few already. I am also in my shop in Lyme Regis running that everyday. I will be fossil walking if you so wish to try this activity in the Autumn .Sorry we have no availability for fossil walks until late September 2021.Did you try Nigel Clark local authour he does the fossil walks at times ? We have a video on YouTube called "Ammonite Lyme Regis."My channel on YouTube is Brandonlennon ,if you’d like to view that please see the video I mentioned it really shows you how to find fossils properly at low tide- along the Jurassic Coast. You need a tide table book or knowledge of when it’s low tide here. You can go out an hour before low tide and hour after low tide looking east of Lyme Regis on the 2008 landslide . Thats a good place to sieve for fossils . We sell sieves at 7 Drakes Way , Lyme Regis DT7 3QP . Come to our shop for any more information you need on fossil collecting. We can give you the most up to date news possible on where to look and what to do on Lyme Regis east beach. Good luck on the beach and don’t venture near to the cliffs . The cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning. The sea does the work for you washing the fossils out of mudslides and landslips. You have more beach to look at low tide along the Jurassic Coast .Please see our video below on YouTube, Thanks BrandonLennon https://youtu.be/Siy9iBEBYCY

Fantastic Fossil Photos On Instagram .A few weeks ago i joined Instagram. This is a service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately.A good number of "fossilists"have shared some wonderful photographs of their fossil finds on Instagram.
Recently i uploaded an ammonite nodule,i had found when out fossil collecting. The fossil is filmed with the round part of the nodule showing in my hand.I then flip the stone over to reveal the ammonite inside the stone.I stipulate in the video description that" i can`t believe its flipping Thursday already."Its certainly true the weeks just fly by these days. The ammonite flipping phase certainly seems to be growing on Instagram every Thursday. If the trend continues in the next weeks the Fossil Flip Thursday Hashtag should see a lot more entries. I have told people that flipping your fossil over a bed or cushion is good practice.Luckily so far i have managed to catch all my fossil specimens. Please follow us on Instagram @brandonfossils and you can see all our fossil videos there. The video directly below this text is one of the nodules that i have also shared on YouTube for people to view.
