Here is a fossil ammonite specimen from the Jurassic Coast! It's from the Jurassic Period and is pretty well preserved. It's been found in a limestone rock and is preserved in calcite . The postage is free in the U.K. for this specimen. Ask for the cost of overseas post as it's quite weighty - thank you. These ammonites are called Arnioceras sp. there is an impression of one at the back of this rock as seen in the photograph
