Fossil Ammonite Preserved in Iron Pyrites
A perfect ammonite specimen preserved in iron pyrites -"fools gold." It was found at low tide ,along the Jurassic Coast .Promicroceras sp. from the Jurassic Age ,Lyme Regis ,Dorset.The photos show the two different sides of the specimen and what they look like.
