Beware Of The Dangerous Cliffs!

The cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning. Beware of the dangerous cliffs along the Jurassic Coast! We have experienced a long dry spell this Summer of 2025, along the Jurassic Coast ! The cliffs will be very dry and 'crumbly' and when the Autumn rain gets into the cliffs they will fall down. There will be cracks and fissures in the cliffs from the long dry spell and intense sun. When the rain gets into the cracks and fissures the pressure will build and lumps of the cliffs will fall off, smashing down onto the beach. This is my fossil shop at Lyme Regis, in the photo.
